audio-walk

Meadows with old fruit trees, lovingly planted vegetable beds, several greenhouses, a small school forest, a listed model pavilion for a school that was never built in 1918 – the neighborhood campus on Dammweg in Neukölln not only invites you to come down and take a deep breath. There’s also plenty to discover here:
How much life is in a handful of earth? What do tree children learn at school? How does ivy know where to climb? Why do leaves have different shapes? How does the tomato plant know who is nibbling on it? How does the Internet of the forest work? And why does everyone here pay with candy?
Equipped with headphones, the visitors wander through the garden. Guided by a voice, the journey leads through invisible worlds full of intelligence and amazing inventions. Processes in nature are placed in relation to one’s own body. The audience experiences itself as a player in a large organism.
